Memoir of a Breathless Misery

When the heart doesn’t know how to express its grief. When the sunlight refuses to illuminate the darkness of the soul. When your closed ones leave you alone to defeat misery. When the love that was once promised refuses to be delivered at your door step. When the tongue can’t stop complaining. When the tears are imprisoned in your eyes and when the freed droplets of water are hanging on your eye lashes. When the words uttered can’t form a sentence. When the blank paper of your notebook stares at you back. When the mournful cry sighs a little longer. When the neighbor next door sings for your sorrows. When the force of the gravity pulls out the emotions from your pumping organ. When the day is covered by the shadows of the night. When the blood in the veins stops to feel your feelings. When the clouds shower failures all over you. When your parents aren’t satisfied with your attempt. When the affection makes you incomplete. When the earth swallows your happiness. When your lips don’t move. When the breathless odyssey comes to a stop. When your achievements don’t put a dimple on your face. When the clock stops ticking in your fantasy.

When the fairytale turns into a nightmare and the prince doesn’t look out for Cinderella. When the happy ending is proven to be a lie. When your invisible wings are cut off. When your hands stop tapping on your chat box. When your Facebook friends don’t ask why. When the followers on your Instagram don’t know you are dying behind your smiley photo. When you want to escape but don’t know the direction to your destination. When the false letters lingering on your novels don’t talk about your situation. When the roses smell like sadness. When the laughter becomes a past tense. When the moisture dries on your tongue. When the light bulb in your room doesn’t lighten up your mood. When the water can’t quench your thrist. When your vision is blindfolded by sins. Then know that Allaah is our Ilah (God), Islam is our religion, Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is our Prophet and Quran is the remedy to your undiscovered disease. Open it there lays the truth and Ayat (Quranic verses) will unlock your chest of optimism. Run to Allaah, run to Love to fill out the empty spaces in you, to complete you and to enlighten you and to love you unconditionally.

  2. No matter how hard we face our lives, we have to remember Allah and ask His guidance .
Allah is so close with His servants, but we often forget Him.
Jazakillah to your awesome reminder, Sister!
