About Me

I welcome you to my blog with warmth and a nervous heart. I am Sumaiya. I was born in the busy streets of Kumarpara in Sylhet, Bangladesh and brought up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I am now pursuing Early Childhood Education in a small yet vibrant town in the state of Selangor, Malaysia.

As a Sylheti by birth and a lifelong rebellious person to unite all hearts from different cultures as one I believe two souls from different upbringings can shuffle together and create their own little world to combat racism, discrimination and borders created by cultures.

I am a big city girl who enjoys the life of a tiny town.

I am hoping to make a change in the strict education system and motivate the next generation to preserve their creativity in this non child friendly world which only teaches us to be highly academic by the use of books and pens but we as future Educators and Directors believe there are many ways to make learning fun. Science doesn’t have to be boring and art is your own creation. A flower can be drawn however you choose to not just the way your teacher teaches.

I have been guided to Salafiyyah by the grace of Allaah and I pray to Allaah to make me steadfast on this path and to guide me.. The purpose of this blog is to share the knowledge I have collected of Islam with you. My aim is to also incorporate what I learn from my course here or just hop on to my Instagram account where you can get lots of information. I will not bore you with more just keep reading and supporting.

    • Actually I didn’t want my English Teachers to find out I have one. Imagine how ashamed they would be by reading my writing. I am sure I have some punctual mistakes and a lot more. Beside it is just 4 months old. 😦
